Robert Piernikowski, widely known as Piernikowski, is a versatile artist based in Poznań – a composer, music producer, vocalist, and rapper, born in 1979 in Świnoujście. He has significantly influenced the Polish music scene as a co-creator of projects such as Syny and Napszykłat. After a short artistic break, Piernikowski returns with a new solo work – the album “Beyond Echo of Time,” scheduled for release in April 2024.
His unique approach to music and deep, reflective lyrics set him apart from other artists. Piernikowski is also a creator of theatrical music, collaborating with director Jan Klata on projects like “King Oedipus” and “The Polish Thermopylae.” His contribution to the development of culture and art was recognized with a nomination for the prestigious “Polityka” Passport Award for 2019.
Also known under the pseudonyms Piernik and ZBRKLKU, the artist continually seeks new means of expression, blending various genres and artistic forms, which makes his work dynamic and constantly evolving. The premiere concert of his latest album “Beyond Echo of Time” is eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike, marking another chapter in his rich musical career.
