Pleń

A Łódź-based trio playing something between post-rock and shoegaze. Active on stage since 2019, their previous – debut – album simply titled “Pleń” was released in 2021 under the Jvdasz Iskariota Rec. label. The band has shared the stage with Titanic Sea Moon, Ampacity, Tie’n Lai, Wczasy, Melisa, Zdrój, Popsysze, and Szorstkie. They also performed at the Music Is The Weapon Fest and Fląder Festival.

A few words about the new record:
The title “Rondo straconego czasu” (The Roundabout of Lost Time) actually refers to Rondo Solidarności in Łódź – a place where hundreds, maybe even thousands of the city’s residents regularly lose at least a few minutes of their lives. Stuck motionless, unable to escape, knowing this is not a one-off situation. “Rondo…” is a specific point on the map of our city, but each of you “has one at home” – sooner or later we all end up in a place we simply can’t get out of, where changing something requires more than just shifting perspective or taking a step back. To regain agency, we need to break the cycle.
