Illusion & Sunday at 9

On October 25th, Illusion will take the stage at Drizzly Grizzly!
Illusion was founded in the winter of 1992 in Gdańsk by Tomasz “Lipa” Lipnicki, Jurek “Jerry” Rutkowski, and Paweł Herbasch. In 1992, they appeared on the German scene with several concerts, and in May 1993 they won the very first edition of the Marlboro Rock-in competition. In 1999, the band suspended its activity, but 15 years later Illusion was revived—Paweł Herbasch, Jerzy Rutkowski, and Jarek Śmigiel reunited and began working on new material, which resulted in the album Opowieści. In 2018, they released the raw and aggressive record Anhedonia. After more than 2 years, they are returning to Drizzly Grizzly to celebrate their 30th anniversary with us!

Sunday at 9 is a Tri-City band founded in 2020, performing music rooted in the broad spectrum of metal, with clear influences of groove metal and progressive metal. With the arrival of 2024, they released their full-length debut Chosen, Obeyed, Forgotten—a musical and lyrical expression of opposition and disgust toward the pursuit of power and elitism.
