EABS is an innovative jazz band from Wrocław, Poland, redefining jazz since 2012 by incorporating elements of electronics, ambient, and techno into their interpretations of classics. The group has gained recognition through projects such as a tribute to Krzysztof Komeda and a reinterpretation of “Purple Sun” by Tomasz Stańko, demonstrating a deep understanding and respect for jazz tradition alongside the courage to evolve it. EABS stands out not only for its unique sound but also for its socio-political engagement, adding relevance and emotional depth to their music. The band, formed by Marek Pędziwiatr (keyboards), Paweł Stachowiak (bass guitar), Jakub Kurek (trumpet), Olaf Węgier (tenor saxophone), and Marcin Rak (drums), has gained international recognition, receiving positive reviews and accolades for their albums.
