Wij, Narbo Dacal, and Great Darkness are three unique bands that present diverse sounds and unique approaches to music. Wij, composed of Maria (Tuja Emerald), Gregory, and Miko, weaves their native language into songs full of foreboding mysteries. Narbo Dacal, a project from Krakow with Eliza, Bartek and Drut, explores the area between doom metal and progressive metal, also drawing inspiration from folk, sludge and black metal. Wielki Mrok, a young band from the Warsaw area, entices with its unique music and stage presence, combining the first wave of Black Metal with the aesthetics of 1980s communist Poland.
These three bands, despite their differences in style, share a love of experimentation and self-expression through unique sounds. They will have the opportunity to share their music on the Drizzly Grizzly stage in Gdansk on February 29, 2024.
